Pain produces wisdom. If one lives a righteous and upright life and never experiences heartache or lack or despair, how does one ever know what going hungry feels like or losing the security of a good job or the death of a parent or child. It would be like seeing only one side of a coin. One would never see the beauty or ugliness on the other side. The reverse is also true. If one only experiences poverty, criticism, and abuse, how does one ever now what faith means or filial love or blessing. Thus wisdom comes from blessing too. To be wise is one who journeys from the gates of hell to the gates of heaven and survives the trip. Wisdom is the sum total of all the truths one learns along the way.

Pain shows us two things. The bright side and the dark side. A man that has lack of faith would complain and blame it to God. But a man who has a strong foundation of faith, will endure the pain, and keep moving forward. Sometimes, we need to be analytical on how our God wants us to be.
